About
Bonsall Riders is a community group based in Bonsall, Derbyshire, bringing together riders and supporters who care about local access, bridleways, and the future of riding in the area.
The group was formed to support better riding opportunities locally. Members work together on route awareness, bridleway clearance, local rides, shared learning, and practical support for riders and supporters.
We welcome both riding and non-riding members who want to support the group’s aims.
Our aims
- Support and improve local riding access
- Help maintain and clear bridleways where possible
- Share information, experience, and local knowledge
- Encourage safe and responsible riding
- Build a supportive local network for riders and supporters
Why the group matters
Good riding access does not maintain itself. Routes need care, local knowledge needs sharing, and riders need a collective voice. Bonsall Riders exists to help keep local riding possible, enjoyable, and connected.
Affiliation
Bonsall Riders is affiliated with the British Horse Society and supports wider work around rights of way, road safety, and rider access.
